RUN for the HILLS 5K – Benefiting Graduating Seniors.
The Bosque County Rotary Club will hold the “RUN for the HILLS” 5K and 1K Fun Run/Walk on Saturday, April 23rd in Clifton. Proceeds from the event will help support scholarships for deserving graduating seniors throughout Bosque County. In 2015, the Bosque Rotary Club awarded 30 scholarships totaling $23,500.
Our run will take place in Clifton City Park along the banks of the Bosque River. The course is on a paved road closed to traffic. RUN for the HILLS is reflective of the beautiful “Hill Country” views, not changes of elevation on the course. Course has approximately 40 feet of gradual elevation increase in the first half, which you get back for your last half of the 5K.
Registrations received by April 16th will pay a discounted entry fee of $25 for the 5K and $15 for the 1K. The registration fee after April 16th will be $30 and $20 for the 5K and 1K, respectively. All fees are non-refundable. Registrations will be accepted on race day. Registrations received by April 9th will be guaranteed an event t-shirt.
The 1K Fun Run/Walk is a great way for families with kids of all ages to get involved in this great cause.
Check-in will begin at 8:00 a.m. The 1K Fun Run begins at 8:45 a.m. and the 5K begins at 9:00 a. m.
