Ribbon Cutting Ceremony Whitney Area Museum
The Lake Whitney Chamber of Commerce visited the Whitney Area Museum Tuesday, October 7, 2014, for a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony to welcome our new Chamber member.
They are located at 200 N. Brazos in Whitney and can be reached at 254-694-6595. They are meeting to determine their hours of operation so check the Hillsboro Reporter and

The new President, Rhonda Bass, did the honors to cut the ribbon and the new officers are as follows: Misty Vivian, Vice-President, Jerri Mullens, Secretary, Debra Katz, Treasurer, Vic Mohon, Margaret Brunett and Betty Willis make up the rest of the board. Member representatives from the US Postal Service along with Director Jason Holloway, Director Bob Wilson and member/ambassadors Kevin Offutt of First Bank and Renee Kettler of TNMP were on hand for the ceremony.
We are very happy to have this new member and for our museum to once again be open to the public.
