Ribbon Cutting Ceremony & Grand Opening of Lake Whitney Taekwondo
On Saturday, November 8, 2014, the Lake Whitney Chamber of Commerce held a Ribbon cutting ceremony at the Grand Opening of Lake Whitney Taekwondo, 1220 N. Brazos Street in Whitney with owner/instructor Danny Smith, his wife Kelly, along with their family, friends, students and parents.
Cutting the ribbon was Danny Smith and Kelly Smith held the new plaque with member/ambassador Tammy McCoy of Top Notch Personnel, Director Debbie Clay from the Chamber and her granddaughter Alyssa Prosser, who was celebrating her 12th. birthday. He is open Monday, Wednesday and Thursday for instruction and please call him to sign up for classes or an appointment at 254-723-7238. There was Hot Dogs, Chips and assorted drinks for all present. Mr. Smith was recently inducted into the United States Martial Arts Hall of Fame. Please sign up for classes or visit their new location when you can.
