Pioneer Day 5K Fun Run PRESS RELEASE
On Friday, October 10, 2014, a check for $750.00 was presented to Jennifer Richardson for a donation to the American Cancer Society Relay for Life team Priscilla’s Pirates,
from the proceeds of the 2014 Pioneer Day 5K Fun Run, by Diana Reed Executive Secretary-Treasurer at the Lake Whitney Chamber of Commerce. Close to 100 runners
participated in this event to kick off the 39th. Annual Pioneer Day Festival. This was chaired by Chamber Director Jason Holloway of First Security State Bank and was a big success to this years festival.
