Happy New Year to all our Friends in the Lake Whitney area.

We have Wonderful news! Beginning this month and every month this year we are hosting Sustainable Living Workshops. Come join us and learn how to make cheese; create decedent chocolate deserts (live sustaining to all choc-o-holics); soap making; food handlers certification; container gardening; community gardening; kids zip-lock gardening; financial planning for sustainability and much more.

The workshops, sponsored by the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service, Laguna Park Community Church and Laguna Park Library, will have a minimal charge to cover supplies and are open to anyone who wants to learn more about the topic offered.

January’s Workshop – CHOCOLATE MANIA

 Join us on January 20th from 9:30a.m. to 12p.m. at the Laguna Park Library. Beginners and advanced cooks will learn exciting recipes and techniques for all things chocolate – just in time for Valentine’s Day.
