FIRST ANNUAL “CITY WIDE GARAGE SALE” Sponsored by Lake Whitney Chamber of Commerce the Brazos Street Market.
The City of Whitney allows two garage/yard sales per year. This is in addition to their rules but this new event has the approval of the City of Whitney.
The fee is $5.00 to display your items for sale. These fees will be used to cover resident addresses, maps, promotions and advertising so everyone will know where all the Garage Sales are located at.
There are two types of sale: Inside City Limits people will register their personal address and have the sale there from 7am to 2pm. The second kind of sale is for those living OUTSIDE the City limits. Those spaces will be at First Bank & Trust and the same hours will apply. Shops downtown Whitney are encouraged to sell in front of their stores to add to the Car Show and to take advantage of all the general public traffic this day will generate.

DEADLINE to turn in your address and pay for $5.00 fee is OCTOBER 15TH. The Chamber of Commerce can answer your questions but the Brazos Street Market will handle this extra work. WE ENCOURAGE EVERYONE TO PARTICIPATE.
