“2014 Christmas Bazaar”
Downtown Whitney on Saturday, December 13, 2014 from 10:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. There will be Arts, Crafts. Baked goods, Plants & Flowers and other items to sell to our Christmas shoppers plus all the Merchants will be having holiday specials. There will be food downtown all day long along with the End Zone and Nate’s Colorado Street Grille. Call Diana Reed at 254-694-2540, the Lake Whitney Chamber of Commerce, for more information on set up times, etc. Sidewalk Vendor space is available for a $10.00 donation or $10.00 worth of food; both which will be donated to the Whitney Area Food Bank.
- 5:00 p.m. the lighting of our downtown Christmas tree and Country Club Assisted Living Residents Christmas Hand Bell Music.
- 5:15p.m. Whitney High School Choir will sing under the direction of Mrs. Sheri Hayes.
- 6:00 p.m. Whitney’s Christmas Parade in Lights sponsored by the Lake Whitney Chamber of Commerce and the Whitney Volunteer Fire Department. Parade applications can be picked up at the Whitney City Hall offices.
